Ampersand Press is a small, independent publisher of poetry, prose, photography, and drawings. We are working with a few unusual books: a new rendition into verse of The Epic of Gilgamesh; A Daughter’s Song and Dance, an adoptee’s memoir of growing up in the 1930s and 40s; and The Dragons of Grammar, a collection of essays on grammar. This will keep us busy through the next several months, and we are not considering any new manuscripts.

But in the future, Ampersand will be looking at work; if you want to gain an idea of what might appeal to us, check out The Rag Tree, the publisher’s personal WordPress blog, or Mood Indigo, the WP blog devoted to A Daughter’s Song and Dance.
